Does gaining a lot super fast make your belly gain the weight?

If I’m comparing the average American to a feedee, the American tends to just let themself go, not exercise and gradually eat badly without intending on gaining. Their weight kinda spreads all over there body and isn’t really focused in the belly while as for a feedee, their bellies are always huge along with other parts. Could this be because as a feedee, you’d push yourself to eat so much everyday, and therefor your belly keeps a lot of the weight since there’s constantly food there? I’m not asking to JUST gain belly weight, I’m asking if this would influence a lot more weight in that area.

Every body is different and will accumulate fat differently.

I don’t notice a trend of people who let themselves go vs gained weight intentionally, I think the difference is much more weight however

As far as I'm aware the only weight gain that's specific to the belly is visceral fat gain. It's the most dangerous kind of fat to gain, especially in large quantities, because it surrounds your organs which can cause a lot of issues.
