Fat experiences

Why didn't i try this sooner?

I was wondering if anyone else was in a similar position as me, I spent 10+ years conflicted about getting fat and intentionally gaining and, whenever I thought about trying it out, I always backed out or stopped before I even got started.

However, once I started my 30 day challenge, I've been really enjoying the results and I feel like I should have given into the desire to gain sooner. I definitely still have moments where I go back and forth on gaining, but the back and forth isn't quite what it used to be. When I start to have doubts about it, I get excited seeing the results in the mirror and on the scale and think "one more day couldn't hurt " and I proceed to eat 4000-7000 calories a day.

I still have 6 days to go in my challenge and I'm already thinking about continuing after the challenge is over.

Why didn't i try this sooner?

I've been trying to gain for about a year, but I still feel like i haven't made the transition from 'slim' to 'plump'. I've never thought about a 30 day challenge. It actually seems like a good idea when you think about it, because you've set yourself a goal and at the end you can assess firstly whether it worked, and secondly, if it did work, whether or not you still want to continue at the same rate. I don't really like counting calories, but as long as I had a rough estimate of how much I was eating per day, it would probably work. I might try this starting in August, just for the one month, and then see how things are in September. It's worth a try.

What's the 30 day challenge? I've been working on gaining weight, mainly just forcing myself to get more even if I think "nahhh im good"

Eating a specified amount of calories above your normal daily amount every day for a 30 day period. It's always seemed a bit drastic for me, but I'm thinking of giving it a go for one month and seeing how things turn out.

Ooooh, Wait, that's literally what I've been doing! I made a "goal" of eating 2500-3000 calories a day, always getting a big fast food meal every single day, and drinking 1-2 liters of whole milk for as many calories as possible, I'm eating a Burger and drinking some milk as I type this now, fr fr

Sounds good. I've basically just left it to my naturally greedy appetite, and haven't been counting calories, but I was very slim up until about 18 months ago when I decided to start eating whatever I felt like, and I think my gain is starting to become noticeable, so my way does seem be working. Anyway, enjoy your burger!

Yup! I've already gained about 7 pounds in the last 3 weeks, which is decent enough for now, milk is so calorie dense, way better than soda...

Ah, that's interesting. I've never thought of milk as being fattening. I drink semi-skimmed or soya milk. Maybe I should switch to full fat?
