Fat city?
but imagine, it would be a vital point for fast food companies, they could put several businesses and earn a lot of money there, and do you know some stories with that theme?

Fat city?
Statistically, there's going to be one.
With rising obesity rates, some U.S. (or maybe Canadian or European) city will become more than 2/3rds obese, and it'll be pointed out as "the fattest city".
Not to count out the rest of the world, but that's where it'll be pointed out.
My bet is on the South, or maybe somewhere in Wisconsin.

Maybe not necessarily a city as that implies some really messed up governmental shenanigans. But I like the idea of a haven of safe space for fat people because that implies more agency.

Seeing as things are, it's not crazy to think that one day a city will be totally fat.

I imagine it as a self-sufficient city, with a stable economy, so think about it, the food chains will be the main attraction in addition to the plus-size clothing store

Except that it ignores reality. Let's not forget that people come in all different shapes and sizes for a variety of reasons.
As things are now, obesity rates will go up, but everyone won't be fat. Plus, this framing takes away people's agency.
To be clear, I'm not against having a city of fat people or a city being more fat-friendly. That sounds like fun. But this framing takes what could be a lovely thing and takes the agency from it.
Instead of a situation where people who want to be fat(ter) or a safe space for fat people to exist, it frames it as if people do not have a choice but to get fat. And in my opinion, that takes all the joy out of things.

If stores would carry clothes up to a 10x, by all means make it happen. Just has to be sufficent enough for citizens to live there and thrive too. Entertainment venues are needed and hobbies. Eating 24/7 can't be the only thing to do. Would deter many people too.

I thought that too, there could be beaches, party clubs, events and just like a normal city
