If you can get into the swing of eating a lot regularly, your appetite will naturally increase, but that can be very hard to do with ill health and a low starting appetite (speaking from experience).
One thing I like to get the ball rolling is the feedee hypnosis videos on YouTube, I don’t know how much stock I put in the actual hypnosis aspect but what they ARE very good for is that they are super hot and being turned on helps with motivation to push myself to eat more, and even though that’s not exactly the same as being hungry it still helps a lot.
I personally find that small (not huge) cream shakes at night DO increase my appetite during the day, but not until I’ve had them on a daily basis for about a week straight. Before that period of adjustment is up they make it harder to eat.
Recently I’ve found that baked goods with a lot of anise seem to help with appetite too. At first I thought it was just because I liked them, and it may be partly that, but apparently there is a history of using it as an appetite stimulant.
