Gaining

Gaining weight. a method.

It seems that gaining a single kilo is nothing at all: just a week of a sedentary lifestyle with an abundance of junk food, and now you don’t even have one, but all three extra kilos.

So, a kilogram of pure fat is about 9,000 calories, but adipose tissue in this amount is 7,700 kilocalories. That is, if every day you exceed the norm by at least 50%, this will inevitably lead to the deposition of fat and a set of extra pounds.

If every day you exceed the daily calorie intake by 1,400 kilocalories, then you can gain 1 kilogram of pure fat in two weeks, and if you eat like this for 4-8 weeks, then after 2-4 weeks you can see in the mirror plus 4 kilograms.

Not necessarily. Everyone is different. This specific method is one of the most popular methods in this community, but the results are varied. I've spoken to people that can get pretty fat with this method, and I've spoken to people that struggle to gain anything.

If you do decide to go on a junk food binge, there are some things to keep in mind:

Junk food is high in salt, so some of the weight will be water retention and not fat.

A junk food diet will give you brain fog. This can lead to other aspects of your life tanking - including professionally.

If you are someone who responds well to the junk food diet, it's best to do it in short spurts to mitigate the unexpected expenses from rapid weight gain.

In truth, you want a high calorie diet, and not necessarily a junk food diet. It's okay to eat junk food, but you need a mix of healthy food so that you can function better.
