My partner and I are planning to upgrade from a queen bed to a king. I'm 435+ pounds, and he's only 180, but he's 6'2". We need more room, especially since I'm gaining weight. I do like steel frames, and we're open to different styles, although we're not especially modern. Any personal favorite furniture makers that has worked well for you or for the super-sized people in your life?

Yes, with the queen bed, I found the mattress was key. Obviously, I need a strong mattress with a lot of support, but I also want my partner to be comfortable. Will probably stick with the same model we have, just in king size. I've grown too big to share a queen with someone fairly tall.
