Working your heart

Does anyone have any suggestions for cardio that won't burn my precious fat but will still give my heart a good workout? I'd like to add something like this into my regimen to keep up my physical endurance as I keep gaining but dont want to work too hard against my fat building efforts.

Any ideas?

Just do a quick burst of maximum effort like a sprint for a few seconds or some burpees. It won't actually burn much calories, but will get your heart rate up for a minute or so.

I can definitely try that. With that be sufficient to build my heart muscle? I suppose the mechanics are the same as low reps-high weight, yeah?

Working your heart

Exercise doesn’t burn nearly as many calories as you think. I’m sure if you’re looking to gain or maintain then staying at a calorie surplus while working out should be easy. There is no reason you can’t gain weight and work out as much as you would like.

How about stuff like practice boxing or maybe even swimming? Nothing that’s too overly crazy in my opinion.
