Unsure about my goals with feedism

Right now I’m kind of in an overthinking and over planning phase, and idk if it’s necessary but it’s stressing me out.

I’ve been on YouTube for 10 years, and I never had a speck of progress towards the success I desired. I started making memes on Instagram for the feedism community and it’s going really well! I then started YouTube feedism gaming, and that’s going really well too, much better!

My problem is that if I continue down this path, I might achieve only part of the success I desire (financial stability, being known in my community, sharing love and happiness within my community). I know there are YouTubers that are well known by more than just what their targeted audience is, and I’m afraid I’m limiting myself by focusing on something so specific that ONLY people within my community will understand. I’m scared not everyone accepts feedism and won’t accept me. It feels like the only reason to do it is to get money and views, and I want more than that!

This might just sound stupid, please don’t be mean or tell me to snap back to reality or something. I love this community so much and I want to do right by it.

I want to be able to comfortably afford bills and take care of my girlfirend and pets. I also want to do right by community and have a positive effect on my viewers (both of which I will achieve with time).

The achievements I’m questioning if I’m able to have are opportunities with this kind of career. Most people don’t really want anything to do with fetish or feedism stuff. I don’t want it to be impossible for there to be a chance of being offered special opportunities (ex: collabing with other creators, sponsors, movie premiers, etc.). I don’t think companies would want anything to do with me if I’m a fetish content creator.
I’m aware it’s very much unlikely this will ever happen, but if I chose my career to be fetish content, it might be just completely impossible.
But please correct me if im wrong.

Unsure about my goals with feedism

You tube should be something you do to supplement an income.
YT fame is fleeting and usually doesn't last over 10 years.
Maybe find a job to be your go to the bank income.
I know because I had a YT channel years ago and income was ok for a few years then dropped off making it not worth my time.
Getting ad income isn't as easy as it used to be and I couldn't imagine how it is now.

Unfortunately, I’ve dedicated myself to YouTube for about 10 years with the same goal and dream in mind. I absolutely would love to earn a YouTube plaque, and just be able to comfortably afford my bills and things for myself, and girlfriend, and pets, and to be able to travel. It’s not really some thing I’m willing to give up just yet. This community has been awesome to me, and I feel very comfortable within it, and I really would love to be able to make content for it, but it does come at a price of how others might see me

You'll have to pick a struggle. If you want to be financially successful, kink content will limit you. If you want to incorporate kink stuff without getting into porn, you won't be very successful. This is especially true since the main consumers of visual kink are men.

And men who consume visual feedist content won't be satisfied with softcore stuff.

Ditzy also makes a good point about relying on YouTube to do well. Every successful YouTuber I watch always preaches the importance of diversifying. YouTube is a fickle mistress.

That is unfortunately a really good point. I haven’t had this much luck ever on YouTube, so I think I might have a shot at doing something new that our community hasn’t seen before. Either, since I’m a guy, there’s a reason why it’s never been done before, or nobody has thought of doing this kind of stuff. Maybe I can act as that guy friend that is relatable and validating to watch and listen to.
I honeslty don’t know what else to do, I’ve tried everything I know to get an audience, but I’ve yielded no results. I want to do what I can to make a positive effect on our community, I genuinely don’t know how else though

Unsure about my goals with feedism

I have kept in contact with some YT ers I knew years ago and they still have their channels but have a regular 9 to 5 job.
One went to realty school and sells real estate part time.
The big channels do quite well but they spend 100 hours a week making and editing content.
Basically have no life just the channel.
I hope you can make a living at it because 80% barely make enough to live on.

This is so true.

If you follow any successful YouTuber, they will eventually tell you about the BTS. Most of those people have no social life, no sleep schedule. Nothing. Their life is content.

And if the Adpocalypse is any indication, you cannot count on YouTube for financial stability.

Why do you want a fetish career?

What is the sublime object of ideology you're after?
