Honestly, I prefer doing the occasional big stuffing. Then again, I'm also really close to my goal weight.

Occasional stuffing. I tend to eat "normally" else, although in phases where I stuff more frequently my "regular" portion sizes, and with them my weight, go up pretty quickly. But weight gain is not really my primary goal.

I get the urge to overeat both because it's a turn-on to feel that full - the pain, the lethargy, the difficulty breathing - but also to calm anxiety, as a response to stress, basically my go-to self-soothe for any strong emotions.

All strong emotions trigger the reflex to want to eat and eat and eat for me. Including food-related emotions: feeling bloated or noticing my belly grew a bit bigger or just having eaten delicious food and feeling my belly rounding out as a consequence... that alone can trigger a massive binge if I let it.

Gaining itself is more of a side-effect for me but I do fantasize about having a really really big belly - I've had phases where I've intentionally eaten and bloated to distend it and increase my stomach capacity. But in general I kinda just wait for the urge to overcome me, and enjoy it when it does

I dont really want a full fat body, and mainly wish to concentrate belly growth.

That's why belly inflation can be fun to do! No need for extra weight but belly can grow really big. And you can practice to pump up more and more...

Unless in consciously working to maintain instead of gain, for me, it's constant stuffing... 15,000 calories days with at least one super stuffing a week, when I try to double that. I can easily put on ten or more pounds a week when I try.

And I as like a day of snaking, every half hr or so, they is also a way to be lots of calories in one day.

None the less I like to have a bigger feed to test my capacity as well, so both I guess.

Agreed re: constant intake. I find, if I want to gain A LOT, it's helpful to do a giant stuffing day, enough to push my weight up ten pounds on the scale, and then to continue eating big so none of the weight drops off. It's how I've achieved some of my biggest gains ever

This is how I packed 100 lbs on my partner in under a year.

He had a gastric bypass years before we met, so his capacity was kinda small. By the time we stopped for health reasons, he was eating about 14k calories a day.

Stretching the stomach is a real thing. When I am in peak gaining mode, two large pizzas are my norm (and don't even make me overly full), and it seems so foreign to think the vast majority of people hit capacity at two or three slices.

Yeah. Helping his stomach shrink was an experience. He was not happy. Being hungry all the time sucks. But he got through it.
