Best and worst cities for feedism

Chicago has great food and is big enough there should be other feedists around. Cheeper than other big cities.

I can't give any recommendations, but I'm curious about how cities where one doesn't need a car (NYC, San Francisco, Boston, ETC) are when it comes to feedism, since one will be walking a lot in those places, and will thus burn more calories.

Iridescent Pearly:
I live in Seattle, it’s been a nightmare and I’ve been pretty much blacklisted myself from the feedism community here because I don’t fit into the clique.

But where do I start? Expensive food, high cost of living, full of health nuts, soda tax?

If I were to move where would you recommend?

Girl, how do you get blacklisted from a whole community?

You are thinking too small. Walkability is actually good for feedism.

If you can easily walk to your favorite food spots, you'll go there more. Plus any money you save on car expenses can go towards food expenses.

On top of all that, walking helps digestion and can work up an appetite. Any calories you burn will mean nothing compared to how many you'll eat.

I concur. I would recommend Philadelphia due to the abundance of food markets around here, but they are far enough away from each other that the walking will help in the long run.

New Orleans is an incredible city for feedism. Incredible food, tons of unhealthy options, huge local culture of indulgence and enjoying oneself, and it's fairly car-centric outside of the historic areas. Tons of bars and drinking going on too, which definitely helps.

Really wish there was a bigger local gainer scene though, especially a gay scene.

I've heard that Melbourne Australia has the highest per capita of restaurants and cafes.

Could be fun.
