I didn't see anyone using the term zaftig.
I have a theory, that when the cartoonist Thomas Nast, started showing the Robber Barons as super fat, in the 19th century, I think that started some of the prejudice against being fat.

I'll start with one I just learned recently: "executive." I love how it connotes both power and opulence.


Men’s Wearhouse has a line of suits and jackets called “Executive” … for us fat guys. 🤣🤣🤣 Used be referred to as portly.
