So today I got a package in the mail. My cousin has sent me a box full of clothes that she no longer could fit. I’m glad she didn’t throw them out but I’m going through all of the clothing. It didn’t dawn on me until I started checking the tags that my cousin and I haven’t seen each other in nearly four or five years so she still thinks I’m pretty much the same size I was back then. I tried on a few of the tops, and it was just a no-go. no matter how hard I tried to fit my big back inside of the shirt they just crumbled right up on me. Leaving me no room to breathe at all. There is one sweater in particular that I really liked. it looks good on me standing up the second I sit down the sweater ended up at my chest. I absolutely had to record that because I just found it funny and I had to send it to my cousin what better way to let her know that I have definitely grown since the last time we physically saw each other than sending her funny videos of me trying on clothes that don’t fit me? But the clothes did not go to waste I plan on taking them to goodwill sometime next week. Nothing was salvageable on my end but I’m sure someone out there could really use them.
I know how hard it was trying to find cute clothes at that size. Anywho. I just thought this was a pretty funny story to share and hopefully a reminder to donate all the old clothes that you guys don’t wear/grown out of. Stay fat friends!

I love that you sent that funny video of the sweater to your cousin - it shows your appreciation for their thoughtfulness, and it shows your confidence in showing them how much you've grown since last you saw each other. It sounds like you have a wonderful and fun relationship - and I'm glad you were able to still donate them and keep the spirit of the good intentions.
