How good are you with role-plays?

Been a role player for years. Sadly, a lot of people really aren't good at it. One line entries, passive participation, leaving me to do all of the work in the role play. I got one good partner from here, but all the others are sub par at best or ghost immediately.

THIIIIIIS. OMG so much this.

I'm a writer, and I've been into Feedism since before the internet. I've read a lot and chatted a lot, and I know a lot of the extra fun topics. But the one-word wonders make me insane. 🤣 If I tell them to carry their side of a conversation, I get either anger, impatience, or literally I kid you not, "Fine. What's your favourite colour." 😳 👎

I would think a negative outcome would be the norm. Basically it's two or more people performing a play, but with no script. Making it up on the spot is not easy for many people. While I've wanted to try some role play, I imagine the participants have to be on the same wavelength or it will get awkward in a hurry. I've tried role play using AI characters and while I think it's helped me with carrying a storyline, it's not a substitute for the real thing, at least not yet, but the potential is there. Obviously with AI, there's no pressure either. I appreciate that in role play you want to get lost in the story and getting pulled out because the other person can't carry their end would be very frustrating.

Honestly? If I know the other person is trying their best, I have zero problems. I can try to guide and help if they like, or wait and be patient while they get into it. I like slow role play, I'm not always available, and I'm not online for a long time to play out super elaborate scenarios. I love popping online, adding to the conversation as much as I can, and coming back again another time when I can for more. Usually, starting with what you are into, and your boundaries/dislikes will help a lot. 😁

I think another issue is that most people are operating blind. For most people, the act of feeding or being fed is strictly fantasy. They've never experienced it, so they don't know what they are doing.

On top of that, a lot of them do not know what makes for good role play.

I remember one time I accepted an RP with a newbie. It lasted for 2 minutes start to finish because all he did was type "CHOMP, CHEW, BULGE, BURP, CHOMP CHOMP"

It wasn't good.

Another thing is that so many people are impatient. A good RP requires some level of world building. Doesn't gotta be J.R.R Tolkien levels (please don't ever do that), but it's important to flesh out the characters a little bit so you can play them better.

Most people wanna get to the spicy things from the jump. And so it stops being an RP and basically becomes sexting.

Honestly I think I’m damn good at it. I don’t do it often anymore as I don’t really seem to see any online forums or anything pertaining fat/feederism related roleplays. I use to do it a lot with a few Friends we even had a 3 way roleplay type thing going on. Wouldn’t mind getting back into that though. 🤔

I think I’m good at it.

A lot of my stories here were originally based on roleplays.

I have literally tons more stories to write.

But I do prefer role playing.

Anyone interested, let me know. Maybe we will find some kinks in common.
