I just remembered this short story today, and I can't find it anywhere. HMU if you can find a link!
It opens with a woman doctor seeing a very fat girl patient. The patient believes that she's skinny. She used to be a cheerleader, and believes that she's doing exercises to "prove" that she's not fat, though in reality she's enormous, and eating. The Dr and nurse are discussing the patient. The family claims she WAS skinny a week or so ago. In between the dialogue, the Dr and Nurse start obliviously eating (and growing slightly). The story ends with one of them suggesting that the girls "delusion" might perhaps be contagious, and the Dr and Nurse are already fatter.
There's also a sequel that explores the Dr figuring out that she's gaining -- there's something about the infection that forces her to see herself as thin and not constantly eating. She can sometimes get a glimpse from a reflection out of the corner of her eye.
I know the story was on DeviantArt, I just don't remember what it was called. DeviantArt's Search seems to just lump every WG story together regardless of other search terms.
