I have a theory that Body Positivity/Fat Acceptance/feederism was started at least in part because of Fat-phobia. Big women in particular were and still are fed up(no pun intended, well maybe a little now 😅) with how society bullies them into being thin that they said:

“You know what? Just for that, I’m gonna eat even more just to spite you”

And I don’t blame them. I’ve actually said on posts that you want someone to lose weight, the LAST thing you do is fat shame them. It’s the same reason people hate vegans, because many of them go about it in a bullying manner that will make people not want to become vegan simply because of that.

I have a mother than enables the shit out of me. Always bringing me extra food, buying me bigger clothes and reinforced furniture, and finding fat-friendly activities.

its a double edged sword because now I think I'm going to get bigger than I wanted or planned
