I'm going to see Marillion (my favourite band) in May for what will be the 8 and 9th time (they're doing two different gigs at the same venue in two days) and if you're into bands like Pink Floyd and Radiohead they're the greatest band you've never heard of ?si=iAbQmKbGBSuw7Itu



I got to see them once about a million years ago. It was the first time they had toured the us in a long time, maybe more than a decade, and they were playing small clubs. Completely killed it. They were awesome. The tour for marbles.

Marbles is my comfort album. I must have heard it about 100 times, and it always makes me feel elated at the end, no matter what mood I'm in. A perfect record.

where to begin : I've been to multiple concerts and festivals over the years ; saw Motörhead twice - once in an ancient amphitheater, and the next in a big metal and hard rock festival (unfortunately, the second time Lemmy was on his last breath, literally), Crucified Barbara (in a medium/small venue), Anti Flag (excellent punk rock band), Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Orange Goblin, Slayer, Death Angel, etc etc from multiple editions of the Hellfest festival.

Same I've seen so many of the traditional heavy metal band like the big 4 (Antharx, megadeath, slayer Metallica). Alongside more modern metal bands like ghost for example. As for myself I love more of the punky and hardcore stuff right now. I recently saw terror and cro mags.
