Clothing for a hanging belly - how do you do it?

I wear pant over the level of my button region. Then my shift tucked in, or loose over the top.

I get custom pants and shirts, I can get 15xl track pants and tees.

Based off your profile height, what you do might work.
But, at 6'3" or whatever I am, I find that most shirts don't go down far enough for my gut. So if you get larger, you might find you need to put your belly in your pants.

As you get bigger you’ll realize it’ll get harder and harder to clothe yourself — there’s a reason why bigger guys don’t seem to dress well and it’s because it’s all that fits fat guy stores usually don’t have much more than 5xl

I gave up on non elastic a while back because it became to much of a struggle to reach around my belly to button. But I felt like a goober when my pants went around my belly

I second this! The other thing to think about is buying clothes when you think your weight is more or less stable. No sense buying stuff that doesn't fit 2-3 months later. I mean it's hot (as in erotic) but no one likes throwing money away.

A tailor is your friend! That's first. I can't tell you how many things fit funny as my body grew and grew and i really wanted to look like a sharp fat dude. Tailor fixes pants, shirts, coats. I mean it's money but I assume you're talking about a professional situation so 5 or 10 buckaroos for an alteration won't kill ya.

Second - to be comfy, let the belly hang out and put a loose (and tailored) jacket over it. Or just let it be "out there" and others can deal.

Around the waist is ok, but ya kinda look like a barge and it can be distracting or uncomfortable because the pants slip down anyway and you have to keep pulling them up which sux.

Suspenders are a classy way to pull off the "fat man in charge!" thing. AND they hold up the damned pants.

Hope this helps!

Yup, Quite telling that when you see big guys they are really dressed up or seemingly underdressed and that’s because expensive tailoring is the only option in many cases
