Help with “flavour fatigue”?

So, my girlfriend decided that she’s ok with gaining weight a couple months ago, she’s gained roughly 2kg since. Lately though, we’ve been running into what I believe it’s called flavour fatigue, and it feels like she’s specially susceptible to it

Honestly, I just want to know if there’s anything to reduce it or get rid of it altogether. Obviously varying the flavours will help, but currently we’re on a slight budget with limited storage. Plus, we don’t live together so having too many leftovers would be an issue

Thanks

Edit: after more questions and observations from my part, seems to happen with snacks more than anything

She eats mostly rice based dishes and like vegetables and stuff at home, her landlords are Philippino and share food with her, but eats mall food for lunch at work, with more meat based dishes with me, like beef and chicken

If her diet is mostly rice+veggies+meat, then she should play around with things. Swap out the starches. Play around with spices and sauces. Try foods from other cultures.

Tell her to experiment more with fast food sounds like she has a normie meal prepped diet. Yeah if gets expensive and she shouldn’t go to crazy with fast food but it’s an option- especially if she’s never really indulged in it before
