Fat experiences

Going to a restaurant with my mother and sister. The hostess seated us to a booth. By me being the heaviest out of the bunch, I gotten stuck in the booth; but managed to squeeze out of the booth. I have bent several lawn chairs due to my weight. My colleague from the library where I used to work at, broken to office chairs at work.

I don't know about other countries, but during my studies in my country we have sports classes - mandatory for 2 years.

My classes were in my 3rd and 4th year of studies, which was when I first gained weight. A white shirt was required, and the one I had started to ride up on my stomach when I moved. Additionally, when jumping for the ball and generally playing, my extra 35 pounds did the trick.


Now I think of it as hot, but at the time it kind of stopped me.

Once upon a time I was a skinny bartender, and when getting ready for functions we had a few narrow shortcuts we might use, such as squeezing between the bartop and the venues dividing wall we'd just put up behind it.

After COVID, I came back to work a little chunky and one of the girls I worked with suggested I use the shortcut - I couldn't fit my fat ass through it ..

I'll never forget going to a place for lunch with family. The chairs looked unstable at best so I told my parents I'd eat outside. Mom said, "The chair will hold you!" I sat down and BAM the thing shattered. I fell to the ground, no injury, just a bruised ego. The place was packed and everyone just stared at me. No one offered to help, luckily at the time I was still mobile enough to stand on my own. But man that SUCKED.

This was a couple weeks back but the memory is seared into my brain. I was at work sitting on one of those rolly stools working on assembling a wheelchair. My boss was trying to talk to me as he was going through our stock inventory so I rolled back a bit to be able to to hear him better and one of the back wheels on the stool snapped clean off so I slid backwards onto the concrete floor. That's only chair I've broken in quite a while

Breaking a toilet seat accidentally while shifting... Not fun... 😅😂

One time, I was at the airport going through my bags. I bent over, and split my pants pretty bad. I couldn't change bc nothing else I had fit so I had to wrap a hoodie around my waist
