I think a lot of people (at least me) know about this fetish through online websites, and it's common to see people post about their gains or how they enjoy each others on websites like this. But what about in real life?

I just saw a gainer on tumblr talked about his former relationship with a feedee woman, whom later had another relationship and eventually made that person in the latter relationship ballooned up to 400kgs. But I can't seem to find anything like that being recorded or had any new report about it.

It's possible that this story is fake or only partially true, but it just makes me wonder how crazy really is fetish community like this in real life?
Have you ever seen or heard of something similar to this? How does things like that even happen?

before the pandemic there seemed to be at least a couple of fat appreciation events every year here in the greater toronto area. they weren't feedism-centric, but there was a lot of overlap between fat admirers, fat positivity and feeders and gainers.

so it's been a long time since i've seen one of those larger events. i've been to a couple of meet-ups that were posted here in the forums more recently, though.

it's great to meet people in person that you've talked to in chat rooms or in the forums for years. it's a shame that canada is so big, because there a lot of people even from my own country that are just too far away to participate.

A lot of feedists are so starved for fellow kinksters that they tend to fantasize about feedism being more normalized and out in open. And I get it. It's hard longing for something that feels impossible to get. But a the same time, let's not get too lost in fantasy.

I think there are many factors that influence this phenomenon: geographical location, culture, economics, religion, etc.

Stories of such gains are not uncommon, but they do not happen consciously and in a short time. People can gain 200-300 pounds from their late 20s and it will be a natural progression for them, because they subconsciously associate, for example, that their grandparents were obese or that their father, initially slightly overweight, gained weight with age.

On the other hand, more crazy cases also occur, but in Poland they will be rare.
