I'm not super obese (yet) and my gain has been pretty slow so these realizations have come in waves. At first it was just discovering my body has weight to it now. When I was super thin I didn't have to worry as much about whether or not what I was standing on could support my weight. Now I'm getting scarily close to reaching the weight limit of the ladders at work. The next stage was a hit to my endurance, I'm still relatively active so the hit hasn't been huge but I can definitely tell doing more strenuous tasks take more energy. And now I'm at the stage where my belly is starting to become noticeable. I'm not fully used to having it around, it's very comfortable especially when laying down or lounging. But at the same time it's a little bit awkward having to shift my weight around when standing up. It's not super noticable just yet, on account of how small she still is, but going from nothing to something still feels pretty extreme to me.
