It might be chafing, or it might be an infection. Does it hurt? Is it warm to the touch?

I guess it might be chafing, it's a little warm and only hurts when pressed or rubbed too hard

Definitely sounds like chafing. There are creams you can use to help the area heal. I'd also update your wardrobe. Your clothes are probably too small.

Chafing is often cased by ill-fitting clothes.

For me it’s mainly my thighs, but god forbid I have to walk substantially anywhere it feels like a rug burn. I like using baby powder or coconut oil? You’ll want to keep it from being too dry. Hope that helps!!

Skin remedies

I have skin issues related to both chafing & allergies. Aloe vera is my number one choice for when it's raw (especially once you've left it in the fridge for a couple hours, great for sunburns), but I don't like it or creams much for stopping rubbing- too moist. I prefer sticks (kind of like deodorant) usually marketed as "anti-friction" (some are made for runners, others for bigger people). I haven't had any reactions to all the brands I've tried so far, and it's stopped both tenderness and sores from developing, so I recommend them as an option!
