I hate how feedism stuff is always portrayed as a kind of BDSM-offshoot. Like "Oh, he's only feeding her so she'll be helpless! No other reason!"

It's like they can't even conceive of the notion that a woman would want to get fatter for fatness' sake, vs it just being a power-dynamic thing.

Munchies:
People see feedism as men making women fat as a way to extort power over them. This, of course not only erases mutual gainers, queer gainers, bhms, and ffas, but it also does not accurately express feedism.

Can power play be a part of it? Yes. But I find most feedists are not into any aspect of BDSM.


Really well said and ratio between FFA to male gainers, BHM:s are really rare / really few. Hopefully it will chance in the future.

In terms of the media, here in the UK, there was a documentary released regarding the different aspects of sex, and it covered feedism in an episode, which I thought was done quite tastefully!
They use to have the full episode up on Youtube, but obviously took it down. There is a short clip of it here:
