No more shoes to tie

Leojk:
Is there a point where you only wear flip flops or crocs, just to dont tie the shoes and be confortable with less efort?

Yes. When you get fat enough that your belly and thighs squish together, preventing you from reaching your feet easily, tying shoes becomes more difficult and inconvenient. I just mostly switched to slip-on shoes when I reached that point.

Kind of, yeah. I've already mostly made the transition to slip-on shoes or side-zipper shoes.

Even if it wasn't for that, I always hated when the laces would get undone throughout the day.

I actually like the look of side-zipper boots with no laces, seems sleeker.

Another user suggested getting elastic laces to basically turn any shoe into a slip-on, but I don't know how feasible that really is.

I still don't know how to tie my shoes so yes. I solely (pun intended) wear boots, flats, and sandals.

My doc martens are zip up and it's very convenient, though I'm not so big it would be a massive challenge to tie them yet

I struggle even with half-zip booties in the winter, I'm not that flexible and my fat really gets in the way. It takes putting my foot up on a stool and creative maneuvering for sure! When it isn't snowing/raining I live in birkenstocks because they are slip on, wide and easy!
