Hello all!

I know that FF has a lot of newbies as well as people who wish to practice feedism, but are unable to do so for one reason or another. I thought it could be fun for those of us to talk about things a novice might not think to ask.

So, to my fellow feedists - feedees, feeders, mutual gainers, and everyone else - what's something you wish you knew before you dipped your toes into feedism

I'll go first. I wish I knew how important it was for feedees and feeders to be on the same page about expectations. My first feedee wanted to get fat fast, and I wanted him to get fat sustainably. In hindsight, this is something we should have discussed before getting together.

What counts as "dipping my toes into feedism"?

Im asking because it seems like there is really nothing that would be of much importance to feedism.

For example what you described in your last paragraph, it has to do with relationships, and the communication in them, far more than it has to do with feedism.

"Dipping your toes" means you are a beginner. And relationships are a huge part of feedism, so it counts.

But as for what I'm looking for, you can put anything down you like. Imagine if you could go back in time to the early days for your feedist journey, what would you tell yourself? What do you wish someone told you?

only to give in to my appetite sooner and that peoples reactions arent that big of a deal/hardly if ever happen.

If this is something that has always been on your mind but you kept it to yourself, explore it. I do recommend sharing with your significant other as soon as you can, discussing it openly and nonjudgmentally. Be honest about what you need (which for me was the hardest).

Feel how you're doing daily - check in with yourself. Go with your mood. Feel the feelings. Write it down.

Take more pictures, a lot more, with and without clothes. Laying down, sitting, standing, all of it.

Indeed, being nonjudgmental with oneself and with a partner is key with all this. It took a while to fully verbalize my love of her figure when others didn’t love it. It only made our love stronger and she’s much more confident shaking off her body because I was genuine about it.
