How did you overcome your fears and concerns? advice for new feedee

Hi All.

When you first decided to start gaining and getting huge, how did you overcome your fears and concerns about getting huge? I'm just starting my gaining journey, hoping to become bedbound and spend the rest of my days eating. I'm struggling with completely letting go due to fears of being so huge, the obvious health issues that come with it, how family and friends and coworkers react to my increasing size. I'm also by myself so I have fears of becoming immobile alone.

How did you overcome those fears when you first started actively gaining? Especially as you got bigger?

My advise is to take a deep breath and consider two things; gaining weight is naughty to _us_ and not to other people, we feel shame because to us it’s sexually deviant, to most people, the act of gaining weight or other people gaining weight is not like that. To put it in our terms we understand it’s like seeing a close family member gain weight (it’s not sexual, hopefully) or same sex people gaining (implying straight people same principle vice versa)

And concern about people’s reaction is related to it fact but unless you’re friends and family are rude people in general they won’t say or do anything to hurt you, if anything they’d say it out of concern for your well being.

In my opinion it's all about taking it slow.

Start with a small gain, see how you feel about it and the way it impacts your life (or doesn't) and go from there.

Much easier to be okay with getting huge when you do it one step at a time.

Something to keep in mind is planning and reasonable goal setting. You also need to make peace with life happening.

If you're afraid of getting immobile alone, then you need to do two things. The first is figure out how fat are you comfortable getting by yourself. The second is finding a feeder that is enthusiastically supportive and will be your life partner.

Some fears and concerns are worth ignoring like people judging you for gaining weight. However, logistical concerns should be taken seriously and addressed.

For me, I was never fear of becoming fat. When I was 200-lbs, I was like: okay, I’m fat. When I weighed myself at a GNC store, I came in at 227.5-lbs. Now that I’m at 250’ish pounds, I’m more content with being fat.

Not sure how much you want to gain or how big you want to be. I've always been fat, so in my case, it more a question of whether I wanted to be supersized (which I am). I overcame those concerns by planning for logistical issues. We bought a different vehicle; we took the glass shower doors out of our bathroom; I saved money to buy larger clothes while I was actively gaining. I'm also constantly reevaluating what concessions I'm willing to make and what limitations I'm okay with. I think at the moment, I may have more limitations than I want. They seemed to pile on after 600 pounds. Fortunately, I have a husband who's supportive and helpful if I decide a little weight loss is necessary for me to fully participate in life.

1. Self-realization: to not care about what other may think. Unless you are not harming someone else; the art of not giving a care is a beautiful thing. Let go and grow.

2. When I was transitioning into becoming a fat person; yeah people made some comments. They know I am athletic by nature. However, a part of me felt as if they wanted to be fat too or let go of something to make themselves happy.

3. After countless times of stepping away from this weight gain fetish, I am getting fat on my own again. Starting over but not completely. It's very lonely but being active in this community helps and continue to do self-fulling hobbies helps as well.

Let go and grow, you'll find some revelations during your journey.
