Being fat at a theme park

Has anyone had any interesting experiences as a fat person at a theme park ie. Going on a rollercoaster and filling multiple seats. Or just eating lots of food at a park.

Being fat at a theme park

Fat People and Amusement Parks are like water and oil, harnesses don’t secure, belts don’t reach and while ya you could cheese it by not securing the safety stuff it’s not worth the risk of falling off and some attendants won’t call you on it. And this is from experiences I had when I was much much lighter than I am now

The only positive is concessions but everything is so damn expensive I hardly worth going it’s fun to tag along with friends don’t get me wrong but like alot of parks you can’t even smoke at so it really be like waiting and eating most of the day.

yeah pricing tends to be kinda expensive and seatbelts dont fit very well after a certain point. I don't personally like them but it is an interesting topic to mention

Being fat at a theme park

last time I was at an amusement park I was probably around 270 and I couldn’t secure the harness that went over my chest so I had to get off the ride. I’ve heard horror stories of big dudes falling out of rides because they cheated getting around the secure check and they fell to their death and that won’t be me, just saying I’ll be eating funnel cake on the picnic table with a cold beer

I haven't been to a theme park in years for precisely these reasons. Also, I overheat easily. If I'm going to walk around in the heat and eat concessions food, I'd rather go to the state or county fair. It's much cheaper and the food is better.

I like theme parks but they never liked me most rides I can't fit on and walking Alot can get to anyone especially of larger size but I've always found ways to have fun, food, the arcade, or other attractions they have available

My partner found Disney to be most accommodating. At 6 ft and 300 with a lot of belly he could do everything except 1 and really he was just freaking out about the coaster. There's a good article out there about "pooh" friendly rides.

Universal awful. He got rejected from a few which was unchill. But most places try to have test seats. And they did give line cut passes for our whole group which was a little nice. It seemed like more bottom heavy people fit in things better, but idk. The lap bar is unforgiving.

But more positive, I went on a ride with my bbw friend, one of those fair rides that goes in a circle usually with like music. But I sat on the outside and she was fighting to not crush me. It was pretty on the nose for me. And she brings it up all the time lol.

I was about 250lb. when I last visited a theme park. It was July, and I sweated profusely even then. Now I'm around 650lb. I'd go if there were enough non-ride attractions, i.e. Epcot or Dollywood, or to see holiday decorations or shows. I'd need my own scooter, and it would also have to be during the cool months.

Went to Dollywood with my 400 lbs partner. He didn't get on any of the rides (although he still wouldn't have gotten on the rides even if he could fit because he doesn't do heights). But he still had a lot of fun.

Lots of fun things to see and do, even if you don't get on the rides. Although he did get on this lazy river ride. He had to get a seatbelt extender, but he fit just fine.
