I'm confused. How was it working really well if there was rampant abuse?

Tool to use when you didn't like someone or wanted to be mean just because of some reason.

Then that means it didn't work at all.

I get it we all want that special someone however if you live in a state of distress because you don’t have that person I recommend changing your outlook.

There’s nothing wrong with not having a relationship it’s okay to be single. Post things you want to post because you want to post them, not because it’ll get you someone,

It should be noted that it’s hard for ANYONE looking for serious connections, regardless of how you see it, we live in a hook up culture and everything is based on hooking up with the baddest baddy you can find.

Right, well I’ve taken advice from @muchies and updated my profile - let’s see how it goes.

I actually managed to secure a date with someone for this afternoon to take her to an all you can eat buffet. And this was before I even updated my profile! But she bailed suddenly and didn’t say why which is pretty sad as I was excited about it. We were getting along really well, too.

But I get it, meeting a rando of the internet must be pretty worrying for women. I did everything I could to reassure her, but I don’t blame her anyway.

If it makes you feel any better, Im in the same boat.

All I get are guys' embarrassing attempt at manipulating/picture farming, ghosters after you set a boundary, and guys that are married and trying to keep this a secret from their thin non-feedist wife. Aka: trash. I block them and move on, but after a while as the block list builds up it gets kinda annoying to see how big that list has to be in comparison to the friends list I have on here.

But even though the friends are fewer and far between they are of far better quality and Im just glad I found them at all. Truly the diamonds in the dumpster fire. 😂

I guess it makes it all worth it in the end.
