A dilemna

I got a customer service job this summer. I graduated before the holidays but due to local borough rules was still elligible for student accomodation over the summer. But now I'm not and am staying with parents. The problem is my parents live just outside of london and it takes ages on public transport (1 hr 40 mins) plus some walking. I don't want to give my job up so soon as then I have to start my job search again. Anyone have any solutions?

Tap the two locations into Google maps and ask it how long between them via every mode of transport it's got.... And start there

The realistic options I can think of are:
1) Live with a 2 hour commute
2) Double check transport options, including rail cards, etc. if trains are practical
3) If quicker to commute, learn to drive
4) Find somewhere closer/easier to live
5) See if anyone is willing to car pool with you
6) Find a new job
7) If there are branches, maybe transfer within the company

How well paid is this job? If it's a basic temp job at 12 hours pw, now is the time to look for an Xmas temp job as I expect companies to start hiring from around now.
