Tips for buying food

To echo Beast, working backwards helps a lot
Start with a daily calorie goal based on how much you want to gain, from there you can modify favor foods and within find recipes within your cooking abilities

I highly recommend feeding your pantry to best feed yourself. Stock up on pastas and rice, get your jars and cans of sauces, soups, oils, beans, nut butters, vegetables, condensed milk, etc.

From there it's easy to shop for the meats, fresh fruits and veg, and dairy each week based on what you're in the mood for

Some go to SUPER cheap meals that are easy to make:
Grilled cheese and soup
Pasta and preferred sauce
Rice and beans
Eggs and potatoes and/or toast
Yogurt parfait made with favorite cereal
PB&J

Meal plan help:
Make it easy on yourself by thinking repeat, rotate, and make enough for leftovers:
2 breakfasts choices
2 lunches choices + leftovers
4 dinners ideas + leftovers + take out
2-3 snack choices

I hope this helps! ❤️

I met someone who ate tons of soup to gain, I asked her why and she said it was because you can replace the milk with heavy cream, and pour in olive oil for extra calories and not notice.
