Working at mcdonald's?

My gaining has been sort of cut short by a lack of funds since I can't afford to go crazy on the uni budget, so I was thinking - would working part-time at Maccies be a good plan for gaining?

I know they offer employee discounts and I'm sure that being in a McDonalds so often would have some sort of effect on me.

I am very green though (I haven't actually had a formal job before) and I'd still have to do my uni course at the same time. I don't want to overstress myself.

Any veteran McD employees (especially in the UK) or anyone else willing to weigh in on this? Is this something I should consider or should I just wait until after uni? Or should I just consider another source of income entirely? Throw some ideas at me If you think so!

Working at mcdonald's?

Donningtonspeen:
I worked through Uni and I didn't find it TOO bad. As someone who didn't want to use the downtime for clubbing I wasn't that fussed about missing that experience. Realistically any job is going to give you the extra funds needed to get gaining, and if you can find something more sedentary and bulk buy food to cook at home you'll be better off than the McD's discount. All the best in your search and gain!

Thank you for the insight! I'll have to find a balance since there's no way can't succeed in uni, have a job AND continue clubbing as often as I do 😅
