When I first joined fantasy feeders, there was nobody in my town, and when it came to most feedees the list of just 250 kilometers was impossibly small. However over a couple of days multiple profiles changed to Glendive Montana, multiple older profiles. Now people can move that's no surprise, but messages I've been getting, feedees who are trying to scam it was really obvious more then just usual. Some form of location verification, or a limit on how often over distances one can change it like somebody changes it to YNC, then Los Ang, then to Tampa Bay florida, should get dinged for a potential scammer. Of course this entire fetish is already filled with that risk.
Mainly it sucks, it sucks to feel like you are going to be baited, when you should be able to trust your feedee. Most feeders are fine with online feedings and that their feedee is far away but trying to take advantage of locationality and lying about it betrays that trust. Trust between mutual interests, between people being decent, makes it harder for feeders to spend on feedees till they are certain they are real. It doesn't just hurt the feeders it hurts the community and feedees too.
