Is anyone else scared to show their belly off in public?

Just do it! First thing I do At the beech is whip my top off then see who starts looking. You can spot the people who think I am discussing and others who are trying to get sneaky looks when laying with their partner or family - beleive me, there are more FAs out there than you think

the only places i bare my belly are typically at the beach and in the change room at the gym (i live in canada... it's cold a bunch of the year... seeing people without their shirts on is not a typical thing in day-to-day life).
most people don't care. even if they find it repulsive, 99% of the time they're just going to pass by and not think of you again.
at the beach, i would say the fat people who won't take their shirts off stand out more than those that do. you know how they say confidence is attractive, maybe the opposite stands out, too?

I would love to take my shirt off in public but I'm scared of people taking pictures and putting them online with hate / mean purposes.

It's like flipping on an invisible radar. You spot them right away: The ones wrinkling their noses (disgust mode activated), and the ones sneaking peeks while pretending to adjust their sunglasses or chat with their partner/family. And yeah, there are waaay more FFA tendencies out there than you'd think, it's like a secret club no one admits to joining.
I've put on this disproportionately big, doughy belly lately (the rest of me is still relatively fit), and it's gold for testing the theory. Walk around in a tight T-shirt, and bam: more women take that extra glance straight at the gut, trying to hide a devilish grin. Once on a flight, I sat aisle-to-aisle with this fit lady who couldn't help herself: Sneaky side-eyes the whole time, and when I ordered a Danish pastry and started munching, she lit up like a Christmas tree. Her body language? Almost turned on, she scooted a bit closer, smiled wider, but tried to play it cool. I "caught her in the act" more than a couple times with a sly look back, and she just blushed. Classic!
I think it's because people don't expect such an unusual "spot-on" belly when they first clock me, it stands out from more evenly distributed bodies. It's happened a few more times now, and it always feels like a little win.

I have judgy family so no. I want to be brave but its hard. I have cosplay pictures I can't post on soc media cause I don't need trolls online cause its mid drift. I used to post swimsuit pics but haven't sense I went over 150.

Keep at it, because it’s your body and you have every right to be as fat as you want to be. Shame some families can be so harsh about it.
