What did you miss about the old technology/media?

If you ask me AI is the final nail to the very heavy, very dark coffin.

Yeah, I have no idea what schools are going to do about ai cause all these kids are going to be dependent on it.

Admittedly, I have used AI to ask pretty obscure questions. Just now I asked it about how effective maritime wifi is in regards to masking IP addresses since I have thought about making an alt account on a forum (MyFigureCollection) that is very strict on second accounts and I considered of working on a ship in the future. Before anyone asks, yes I know I can use a VPN lol.

Most probably IP address will change frenvently as the isp needs to rent IP addresses from a local ISP. But if you want to do alts I'd recommend you use a VPN.

If you can't extinguish it, you embrace it. Teachers will use it too. Education is heading downhill.

I miss Flash. Watching Strong Bad every week, playing games on the school library computers, browsing Newgrounds and seeing everything from edgelord shitposts to literal art. There was so much to explore. It's technically still possible to experience most of that with Flashpoint and Ruffle, but it's just a time capsule. Steve Jobs killed it, the internet moved on, and now we have Tiktok instead (unfortunately).

Around my pre-teen years there was this flash animation site I used to use called "Doink." I pretended to be a Millennial teen while I shared my cringe furry drawings/animations and HTF fanart. Sadly, the team behind Doink shutdown their software in late 2012 and converted it into a mid IOS app.
