i hope that there will be tags on any a.i. stories here to allow those of us who are not interested to avoid them.
for me, the whole purpose of reading a story is to see that world through the eyes of the author. their intentions for the characters, how they imbue those characters with their own motivations. right down to the choice of words.
the fact that the a.i. doesn't even have a point of view is the fundamental problem.
the choices the author makes are what make a story interesting, to me. it's not just stringing sentences together in a way that disguise it into tricking the reader that, hey, maybe someone actually wrote that?
