I think for me, I was always a chubby kid, and so I just kept wanting to eat more. But, when I found a few random fan arts featuring fat version of characters I like I was like "Dang, that's hot." And tried to imitate them by getting fatter. Though now it's because being fat just turns me on so much and not just copying something else.
