Juliihs2:
I've started dating recently, and over the past five months, my boyfriend has gradually gained some weight about 2.2 lbs per month. He's mentioned it with some concern, but I actually find it charming. I like making sure he always has snacks and feels comforted, especially since he's been under a lot of stress lately. After a few days apart, I noticed his belly looks a bit rounder. I just want to support him and make sure he feels loved and well-fed even if that means his clothes start to feel a little tighter.
I see this post is 6 months old so.. any more weight?
My gf did the same to me. I'm sure she didn't mean to, she just want to cook me nice dinners and bake something good. I was the one eating with gusto and complimenting her for her skills.. which she loved and she felt motivated to keep up.
When I told her I had gained 20 pounds she laughed and said "OMG honey are you serious, that's a lot!" I told her I thought she was just too good a cook and she immediately was pleased and proud. She kinda forgot I was getting fatter and she didn't cook or bake any less.. if I overate and ended up with a bloated belly on the sofa she would just giggle and say something like "oh it looks like you've enjoyed dinner! I'm glad you did!"
The fact is that she's not a feeder or a fat admirer. She's just very "nurturing" and I don't think she loves the extra pounds I've put on (30+) per se, she loves it because it's a proof of my appreciation for her being so good to me.
Does it make sense?
