I have a dog that my parents bought me a couple years but I do want to gain weight. How out of breath do you get from walking your dogs?
Walking is good even if you get out of breath! And the answer is, as fast as you go 🙂 When I'm the sidewalk, my dog wants to sniff everything so we go slow. It's not even exercise. Then I take her to a place she can run off leash to get her exercise. I will walk a few laps too so I get my exercise, and we can each go our own pace. My dog has not been affected at all by my gaining 100 pounds, and even if I were 400 pounds she would be well cared for and exercised.
