Feabie banned me forever for receiving a rape threat and appealing my ban.

Feabie is a shit hole when I was there it was all scammers or people begging for money. I'm sorry you were threatened that's unacceptable behavior.

I have also treated badly on that site, also if you are male on there that you are creep automatically that is reason for ban.

Please avoid that site in general is my advice.

yeah, that doesn't make sense.... forgive me for doubting the original poster, but that explanation sounds very suspicious and unrealistic to me.

i have been a member here for a long time, i've been a member here for a long time... they are very different places. they have slightly different rules. in both places i have found if you follow the rules, you have no issues. feabie has a very strong policy against "naming and shaming," so if you don't know that, it can get you in trouble. but, just like here, if you report people (as i have done dozens of times) they seem to deal with things pretty well, for the most part.

as with all sites, we're all guests on someone else's platform. know their rules, and follow them.

i also never understood why someone would go to one website to complain about another. what is that going to achieve?

More details are warranted before rendering an opinion, (but the details are private, so I’ll refrain). This is the third identical thread created by the OP. I’m not defending Feabie, and certainly not saying she doesn’t have a legitimate grievance, but we would need a bit more information about what transpired to provide informed commentary.

all good, valid points. but i would ask, why bother probing further? why even bring it up here on this website in the first place?

if you don't like it, don't go there. but coming here and telling others to stay away just makes me feel like they have an axe to grind, and it probably says more about the individual than the site they're slandering.

I have no opinion on the current specific posts earlier in this thread/other site.

In general, if a person is unable to communicate to what they perceive to be their community on one site (e.g. because of a ban), and they believe there may be significant crossover of member of their community on some other site(s), and they wish to share their experience, they might well do so on some other unrelated site.

OP is far from the first to slam Feabie here (over the years), and many in prior years (last i looked) have slammed FF on Feabie. Etc. on other sites in our community.

A little bit like reviews/ratings of ebay (or Amazon or whatever else) sellers, one or a small few negatives may reflect specific circumstances or misunderstandings, and may not change anything. A significant number of negatives might indicate something to consider… or be noise from a bot army/AI slop/etc.
