I have been asking myself a question for a long time. What happens to tattoos when we gain a lot of weight? I'm talking about tattoos on places that can grow drastically. Will the tattoo deform or grow with the body? Share your experience.

I haven't gained a huge amount yet, but so far the tattoo on my belly has been stretching quite a bit and is definitely lighter in color than it used to be now

Depending on the site of said ink, may see distortions, warping, or loss of ink

I wonder if there are any that can be made with that in mind

I suppose you could get one on say, the lower gut that's precisely 6 inches long/wide, then measure how long it is every now and again!

Mine are on the outsides of each shoulder, so it wouldn’t apply here since I’m all ball belly. But my wife has tattoos on the backs of each shoulder. The last 30 or 40 pounds have made her wider and made the tats move farther apart 👍😁
