While dad bod never meant extreme obesity usually more bit of a beer belly looking back I do remember it on social media featuring a lot of images of beer bellied men with relatively slender women.
While I know this is a result of stricter beauty standards for women and possibly comedic as well it is accidentally appealing for the contrast fans of this fetish.

The irony from this is that I find that the women who want to be thinner/healthier apparently like their man to be bigger than them. 😅

I can even say from my own dating experience from some people I have spoken towards.

And yet I assume I assume the vast majority are not feeders in the fetish sense.
It’s almost stranger than if they were in a way.

I think I discovered the trend late after it's prime time. Anyways, it does make me wonder will there ever be a BBW equivalent in the future? I sometimes have my doubt with the double standards of society but then again people these days do like girls' big butts and thighs so I guess that's a start.

One argument I seem to remember for dad bods was actually that women should be the pretty ones.
I think the men into thicc women are probably more likely on average to genuinely prefer them visually and sexually into them (no I don't claim 100% certainty).
Still I do wonder if there might be a slight subconscious arousal at the contrast among some without them even realising? That might just be projection.
