yes, there have been a bunch of meet-ups in the past. as the city is slowly thawing out, we need to have another soon!

first challenge: picking a location. centrally downtown, east end, west end, etc.? then, a venue and a date/time.

gta folks - speak out! is there interest? when? where?

Ya and where can we go where we can speak openly about what we like but without being clocked bc lord knows I know a lot of people in this city and don't need my private life circling the air waves

we used to have these a couple time a year, usually at the eton house on danforth... sadly, that place has been torn down recently, so it's not an option.

outside of the downtown core avoided the issue of being too "out there," but something easily accessible from transit/subway is probably a good idea.

Ah, that’s a shame about the Eton House — places like that always end up tied to good memories.

I like the idea of staying a bit outside the downtown core to keep things more relaxed, but still close enough to a subway line so it’s easy for everyone to get to. The Danforth area in general is still a solid bet for that balance, or even somewhere along the Bloor line a bit further west.
