What my 62,00 calorie day looked like

I finally did something I thought I'd never be able to do again, and I broke 62,000 calories in one day.

Even as much as I've been stretching my capacity lately, this was almost more than my body could handle. I continued to bloat throughout the night, and my husband repeatedly massaged and patted my belly to ease the pressure. This is overly personal -- but he also had to assist me with peeing, because I was unable to stand for about 6 hours.

When I finally made it to the bathroom with great effort and some help, I stepped on the scale. With food weight and fluid retention, I must have exceeded the scales 699.8 lb limit, which means I crammed more than 30 lb of food inside.

I've called out today. Even though I work remote, I'm going to need a rest. Keeping myself comfortable isn't easy when small movements are very difficult.

As we always do, we kept a running total of everything I ate and drank. I have to say, this list isn't for the faint of heart.

1 dozen scrambled eggs with 2 pounds of jalapeno cheese - 4,400

I'm pretty thrilled. Of course, now, I'm dealing with some physical consequences, but they'll pass in a few days. My husband helped me shower tonight, because I'm pretty unsteady. He said I've easily swollen up another foot to 18 in around my midsection, because I'm still so full. Nevertheless, I managed about a 5,000 calorie day today.

1 cup of tea with honey - 60 calories
