Anyone knows how is different acquired fatness from lifelong fatness? I mean if you were slim all your life and gotten fat like at 18, vs having been fat all your life, is there a difference between the shapes?
I've been fat my whole life, and properly obese since I was maybe eight or nine, much to my mother's chagrin. In early twenties, I lost a good bit of weight at my doctor's urging, though I was still clinically obese at my lowest. I regained quickly and very intentionally, and I just kept going from there.
I was fat all over before the weight loss, although I always had a big belly. When I regained with intensity through stuffing, I gained a lot of visceral fat. Even at my current weight, I have more firmness in my belly than one might expect of someone very supersized. I definitely think, while genetics is the major factor, there's something to the theory that incredibly rapid gains and regular stuffings lead to more hard gut fat.
