Fetishes and asexuality, greysexuality.

Hey, hello, I'm writing this post because I think I might be asexual, or greysexual. And I was wondering if it might be related to my many fetishes and kinks, which I seem to have developed very early in life. Even before developing more "vanilla and basic" sexual desires, which would have overshadowed and distracted me from that during my adolescence, I was so satisfied with my many fetishes that I didn't care at all about other sexual practices. Anyway, these are just hypotheses, but I was wondering if this is a common phenomenon, or if there are other people who feel the same way I do ?

As if your kinks and fetishes take up so much space that you're not interested in conventional sex.

Interessting topic. I feel similar about it when it comes to fetishes. And there is even more, cause I think fetishes are something, where the real fun and pleasure starts, compared to common sex.

The brain is the body’s most powerful erogenous zone. Pleasure and imagination go hand in hand. Oftentimes the two are inseparable. Kink and fetish are tied tightly to a vivid imagination.

When I was young I first envisioned how exciting it would be to overeat and become fat. That came before conventional attraction. It has been a strong pull for me ever since and in the few relationships where it has been in focus I felt something far greater than what love alone can provide. But without love and companionship it loses its weight entirely for me.

We’re all different though, so for some it could easily be the dominant or only source of pleasure.

Can confirm that I am much more interested in and turned on by feedism than conventional sex, but I'm still working out how to label that. Great topic here.

I completely agree with you, especially regarding the "imagination" aspect; I really relate to that, given all the scenarios I dream up around my various inclinations and fetishes (especially vore).
