I am not a feeder, but a really easy way to start things along is by making ingredient swaps to food/drinks he is already consuming (i.e. half and half swapped for heavy cream, olive oil swapped for butter, diet anything swapped to their regular counterparts, whole wheat breads swapped to white, etc). Also just adding on to foods he already eats, (I.e. if he is having a salad, sprinkle bacon bits on top, having chips, give him a creamy dip for them, having ice cream, add fudge or sprinkles or candy or nuts, mac and cheese, add extra cheese to his portion).
Nuts are hugely overlooked, as folks think they are healthy, which they are, but they are very calorie dense with lots of fat. Time of day matters too, eating late in the day means there's less time/opportunity for calories to be burned off before bed. Proximity/temptation, keep favorite snacks out on counters/tables, pack in his work bag.
Finally, subtly encourage being sedentary- dont plan dates/outings with physical activity, do plan dates with food around, whether its a dinner date, or a board game night with chips/candy/milkshakes- especially dates where food does not appear to be the focus, but is tempting and highly present.
Above all else, make him feel sexy/desired, because relationship weight happens for a reason, its when folks feel safe/confident enough to let themselves go!
