Fat experiences

Any regrets

I am a new Feedee and I was wondering if any of y’all had gained a significant amount of weight and regret it to the point of you losing it back. just curious.

Not yet for me. 80+ pounds gained on purpose so far, and I'm finding the gaining and the weight to be more thrilling than ever before.

No regrets here at all. I’m much more confident in my looks with a big ball belly versus my youth when I was just skin and bones 👍😁

Not to the point of actually losing weight, but I have had times where I have had serious regrets or thoughts of maybe wanting to loose weight. Mostly whenever ive encountered some kind of health scare, but especially more recently, it can be a little socially isolating to not be able to go for walks (even short because i walk so much slower than then), shop at the same stores as my friends, or do anything size limiting (watersides, any sports, theme parks, theatre seats, etc). But I haven't and im not looking to lose any weight at this point!

Up ~ 100 pounds over the years. Honestly no regrets here. I feel so much more comfortable in my body now than I ever did when I was skinny. Sure you get passing moments of embarrassment still but those are few and far between. I really like the weight.

Nope. Feels like I've grown into myself over the years and for every additional 20# I always am curious how the next 20+ will feel, look, or otherwise notice the changes.

At 300# I still average 5 miles a day and 12k to 15k steps, although it's getting harder to stand up unassisted, I can still hold and pop a squat lol. I garden, go hiking, although climbing a bluff and equivalent of 19+ flights of stairs (fit bit) was slow going and I'll prob hang on the beach by concession stand next time. My gait has slowed to more of a waddle. Prefer to sit more often and find myself leaning as able.

Find myself considering seating options with a more critical eye, have had to switch from booth to table with friends or family, or else angle table kidywompus, if not bolted down. Tight squeeze. Noticed couches I frequent are more worn down and harder to extract myself from.

The last year or so I can feel more pressure on my joints, knees, ankles, and my damn heel. Need to be more diligent and incorporate a stretch routine or some light yoga-ish things helps soreness. My only other complaint would be chafing. All well worth it to be soft and cuddly.

This is what I'd love for myself! I'm still active but I need to hike more and do more targeted training as well, instead of relying on work for most of my exercise. Do you have any tips for a fellow gardener and hiker? How long did it take for you to reach 300?
