So I've got my bed height raised to the point where I sit up, pivot, and just stand up. Just wish it was just as easy for toilet height as well. Going out shopping for affordable ways to raise the toilet deck. But then I'm wondering if, with the easing of getting off the throne, should I be concerned that my pelvic tilt is too shallow for proper bowel movement?

It's possible. If so, something like this should work quite well if your body allows for it: www.squattypotty.com/

in hospital i used a toilet seat riser, there are very similar-looking items for sale on amazon.

while i had no issues with the one i used, i would note that the ones on amazon quote a 300-lb maximum weight. not sure where to get something heavier-duty?

I’m constantly adjusting the screws on out toilet seats at home. Wife and I have gotten too fat not to keep knocking it off alignment :-)

The following is based upon experiences of my True Love, who due to medical malpractice over many years, has more trouble than most people in the 300s of pounds range + typical woman’s height getting up and down.

Bed height: ours is like OP Wicked Pear’s. Love is sensitive to Higher (needs a step) or Lower (difficult up/down).

Toilets: she does better with Chair Height toilets. These are readily available (at least in the U.S.) at the usual home centers. Great for urination. Yes, bowel movements are easier/less strained (for anyone, i’ve read, and for me for sure) with the proper angle, and here is where something like the Squatty Potty can really help. She has one at her Texas home, with her chair-height toilet. It can be out of the way for urination and pulled out for defecation. In our California home, so far we do without. (I tend to raise my legs against nearby cabinetry for the same Squatty Potty effect when needed.)

She needs a toilet seat riser for 2 of the 3 toilets (standard height) at my mom’s house, and thankfully my mom lets us store one there for visits. It’s used, so we don‘t know the weight rating, but she’s in the mid 350s of pounds and no signs of damage yet, on this one or a couple others she found used (Goodwill, bulky item cleanup days, etc.).

Very much relate to HappyBigBelly’s seat fastener realignment. I’m doing it all the time. Totally worth it to support and be with such a delightfully plush woman.
