User Fatgirlbelly said it really well. I really like how fat looks and feels on my body overall. I like when my body rubs against itself and jiggles, I like the roundness and softness of my features. I also like those features on others and find them attractive, especially if that person is confident and at ease with their body. But other people's bodies are their own business, so if they're not happy with it, I respect that. How can I not, when I myself felt wrong being slimmer?
From a more practical view, I like how it cushions my body against hard objects, making it easier for me to comfortably carry big heavy things in front of me. I have built in cushions all over my body, I rarely feel the pressure of my skin being pinched between my bones and another object. And it's so much easier to swim because I don't have to work as hard to stay afloat, compared to more muscular folks.
There are negatives for me too, but a lot of them are things I was already dealing with to some extent before I got fatter, and everything else is manageable in some way or worth the tradeoff. I don't love how much I sweat, but I was gonna sweat regardless because I take testosterone and work outside in the heat. I don't like excessive chafing, so I choose my underclothes so that they help to reduce that (boxer briefs are fantastic for me) and otherwise wear clothes so the areas that rub a lot are covered. My shirts all start to wear holes in the armpits after a while, but it is what it is. I have acid reflux, but it's genetic and I've had it since childhood. I snore sometimes but I'm not convinced my weight is entirely to blame and I can still manage it unless I'm sick or something. And I have a smaller frame overall so getting fat hasn't negatively impacted my ability to do most weight- or size-limited activities.
