I was a big fan of Adventures of the Little Koala as a kid, a cartoon from the early 80s that had reruns on Nickelodeon through the early 90s. Surprise, surpise - the episode Dad on Stilts was one of my favorites , featuring an overweight Dad whose family was trying and failing to get him to lose weight. Check it out here:

But that episode in particular! Haha I watched a bit... So funny.

It's mummys fault for being such a good cook!

That’s a common thread in weight gain scenarios in my head — someone is a phenomenal cook and the food is irresistible. Weight gain is the logical consequence.

I never seen Adventures of the Little koala but I definitely really liked the French fry episode in Lilo and stitch the tv show and the passion patty episode as a kid I remember wishing I had the food.
